County Court at Law Records
Probate
- Issue citations, subpoenas and writs

Civil

Misdemeanor Criminal
- Issue warrants, subpoenas and jail commitments
- Receive payments for fines and court costs
- File appeals from lower courts
- File and index all paperwork into the Criminal Minutes
Juvenile
- Issue subpoenas
- File and index all paperwork into the Juvenile Minutes
Court Registry
- Custodian for monies belonging to minors, heirs, etc.
- Invest funds in various accounts
Recording
- Land transactions including Deeds, Deeds Of Trust, Liens and Right-Of-Way Easements
- Miscellaneous documents intended for public access
- Assumed Business Names (DBA)
- Military Discharges (DD214)
- Bonds
- Oaths and Bonds for Elected Officials and their Deputies
- Deputation Records
- Subdivision Plats
- Marks and Brands
- Bankruptcy Notices
Local Registrar
- File and make copies of birth and death records
- Issue Burial Transit Permits
- File Acknowledgements of Paternity
Commissioners' Court
- Attend and record Court sessions
- Record the minutes of the Court

- Marriage License
