The Commissioners Court designates the Director of the Orange County Environmental Health and Code Compliance Office as the Enforcing Official for Recreational Vehicle Sites in the unincorporated areas of Orange County. All permitting, payment of fees, submission of site development plans and annual inspections will be conducted through this Department.
All new RV Parks shall follow the following approval process before final approval is completed:
1. The applicant shall arrange and attend a pre-submittal meeting with Environmental Health and Code Compliance along with Orange County Road and Bridge and Orange County Drainage District. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the intended development to ensure compliance with the basic requirements and to arrive at a coordinated plan layout.
2. After the pre-submittal meeting, applicants shall submit all required documents and fees to the Environmental Health and Code Compliance Department. No proposed Recreational Vehicle Park shall be considered by the Orange County Commissioners Court until Orange County Environmental Health and Code Compliance Department, Orange County Road and Bridge Department and the Orange County Drainage District have each approved the submitted plans, documentation and fees.
3. After receiving approval from all required departments and agencies, the Recreational Vehicle Park Application will then be submitted to the Orange County Commissioners Court for review and possible approval.
