Job Description:
Performs routine larviciding and supervises seasonal larvicidng employees. Maintains records of areas larvicided. Maintains locations of associated breeding grounds, such as; ditches and low areas. Informs drivers of special instructions or problems regarding their assigned route. Instructs drivers of new route adjustments and proper procedures to follow according to Director’s general instructions. Inspects spray trucks and equipment according to established procedures, as required, reports any problems or malfunctions. Maintains daily and monthly treatment records. Advise as to when supplies are needed. Performs field surveillance, Adulticiding work on special occasions as requested by Director. Insures that Larviciding vehicles are loaded with chemical, as required. Assists other employees as needed. Assists with maintenance of vehicles, equipment and facilities during winter months. Other duties may be assigned.
